Absolutely terrible service. I will NEVER choose VNA again. The staff member was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. I showed her my appointment confirmation, yet she sent me back and forth between the front desk and lab. I ended up waiting 2 HOURS, missed my appointment, and was eventually told to go to a different branch. This entire situation was completely avoidable. Extremely unprofessional and a huge waste of my time.

Came for an appointment I had set up online. Unfortunately it was the wrong date but never the less Anna Marie was very nice and helpful, while there she had grabbed all my information to make my actual appointment go smoothly.

My visit was concerning for several reasons. Everyone was generally polite but not kind which is what I’d expect for such a vulnerable time as being pregnant. When I gave my urine sample there were SEVERAL other samples still in the drop off box in the bathroom. As a former phlebotomist and nurses daughter that was IMMENSELY concerning. Not only can sample not sit forever and still be viable, they can also easily be tampered with. Not to mention how unsanitary. Then after the exhaustive wait, when I was shown my exam room and left alone I see the computer logged into a list of patient personal details including full names, primarily language, and other identifying details which is completely against HIPAA. It did automatically log out after a few minutes, but I definitely would have had time to get pictures of the screen or navigate to more detailed patient information in the system if I wanted to. I was also incredibly sick with the stomach flu so I was not able to properly advocate for myself well, but I was also given tests without explanation of their purpose. I hate that it’s taken me so long to share and talk about my horrible experience at this location, especially with Dr. Burgess. As much as I wanted to just forget about all of this and move on, unfortunately I couldn’t and I believe it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t let other ppl know about my experience and what happened so that they know to choose a better/different Dr. It was super obvious to me that this Dr. doesn’t care about her patients and is only in it for the money. My appointment was at 9:45am in July or August of last yr, 2025 I believe (can’t remember exactly which month!) and I waited exactly 1 hr in the waiting area and I felt uncomfortable because after waiting a while, there was an ambulance and paramedics who came in with a stretcher for someone. I immediately had a bad feeling about it. Something just didn’t feel right…for some reason I felt like that person had just seen Dr.Burgess. I worried so I got up and asked the nurses what had happened and if they were going to call me soon. That’s when they told me that it will be a little bit of a wait since the person the ambulance came for had in fact just seen Dr. Burgess. Mind you, I’m not sure what had happened but

I had mentioned earlier about a long wait time at VNA Healthcare (my 7 PM appointment started closer to 8 PM). Recently, the manager personally reached out, sincerely apologized, and explained the situation, which I truly appreciated. It shows they really care about their patients’ experience. The doctors here are always attentive, professional, and do a great job. I’m very satisfied with the care I receive and pleasantly surprised by how responsive and organized the team is. Thank you, VNA Healthcare, for your kindness and professionalism! 🌸
